A group of trailblazing diabetics founded the San Diego Insulin Pumpers group in 1983. John Rodosevich ran the meetings until 2012 when his health required him to step down.
Following John, several other participants in the group stepped up to maintain the club.
Currently, three volunteers schedule meetings, book speakers, write the newsletter, manage the Zoom meeting technology, and maintain our website. We have no dues.
You can attend our monthly meetings in person or via Zoom.
Most of our meetings have expert speakers or open discussion where fellow diabetics can get help from their peers with diabetes-related issues.
Our website
offers a wealth of information and resources to the diabetes community.
Sharp HealthCare provides the meeting space for our group. We also receive continued support from TCOYD, which gives us the opportunity for more exposure to our fellow diabetic population.
If you need help managing your diabetes (and who doesn’t?), please join us.
