The Diabetes Research Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in San Diego, California. Established in 2012 by five tireless proponents of diabetes research, our mission is to connect donors with early-career scientists enabling them to perform peer-reviewed, novel research designed to prevent and cure type 1 diabetes, minimize its complications and improve the quality of life for those living with the disease.
Scientists starting out in diabetes research, also known as early-career scientists, have a difficult time finding money to support their innovative ideas. The Diabetes Research Connection created a platform connecting donors directly with early-career scientists, enabling them to perform peer-reviewed diabetes research designed to prevent and cure type 1 diabetes, minimize its complications and improve the quality of life for those living with the disease.

DiabetesSisters offers a range of education and support services to help women of all ages with all types of diabetes live healthier, fuller lives. We understand the fear and isolation that often comes with living with diabetes because we are an organization that is managed by women who are living with diabetes.DiabetesSisters recognizes that emotional and peer support is vitally important to a woman's overall wellbeing. Through DiabetesSisters' education and support services, women form a special bond and can freely share information, helpful tips, and stories of hope.

Tidepool
Tidepool is a nonprofit dedicated to getting ‘incompatible’ diabetes tools talking to one another.
For several years, Tidepool provided tools to upload records from incompatible BG meters, CGMs, and pumps to display ‘actionable’ data in a combined report.
Their most recent project, Tidepool Loop, has been submitted for FDA review. Tidepool Loop is a phone app that aims to turn one of previously incompatible *multiple* CGMs and one of several *modern* insulin pumps into an FDA-approved, customizable, hybrid closed-loop insulin delivery system.
