THIS MONTH: Stephanie will introduce the MiniMed® 670G system, the world’s first hybrid closed loop (HCL) insulin delivery system. This revolutionary technology automatically adjusts a patient's basal insulin every 5 minutes to keep their glucose levels in range, day and night.  She will also discuss how suspend before low and the auto mode algorithm work and she will also go over the new Guardian 3 sensor and current patient outcomes and results.

LAST MONTH: Chad Lee from Omnipod spoke about the latest developments from Omnipod. An updated Horizon PDM called Dash will be available later in 2018. The new PDM has Bluetooth and will be able to interface with Dexcom sensors. A Omnipod promotion is now available with any brand of Pump trade-in offering a free PDM and a 30 day supply of Pods.
