MEETING TIME:  Monday, November 14th, 7:00-8:30pm

THIS MONTH:  Dr. Steve Edelman and Dr.Jeremy Pettus will discuss the latest research and particularly the research they are currently conducting.

John discussed pattern management and the five paths to better control. He also gave us the current MARD ( mean average relative difference) of the three current CGM devices.
Medtronic 13.9%, Abbott Libre 11.4% and Dex Com 9%.

The sixth addition of Pumping Insulin is now available in print and also on Kindle, iPad, and Nook.

Pre-Meeting Dinner (Souplantation): Several of us get together about 5:30 before each meeting for dinner, and all are welcome!  Anyone who would like a bite of dinner before the meeting can join us this month at the Souplantation Restaurant in Kearny Mesa, 7095 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard (just east of 805), 858-715-6824.  Please be ready to leave the restaurant by 6:45 and proceed to Sharp so that our speakers and non-dining members are not delayed.

As always, significant others and any friends and family supporters are always welcome at the meeting.  Our meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Pumpers club Holiday Dinner is December 12th at the Mimi's café in Mission Valley. We have the winery room from 5 to 8 PM  PLEASE RSVP to sdinsulinpumpers@gmail.com by FRIDAY DECEMBER 9 if you plan to attend so Mimi's can prepare accordingly. The address for Mimi's is 5180 Mission Center Rd., San Diego, CA 92108. We invite all pumpers, friends and family to celebrate with us at Mimi's in their private dining room for a convivial meal and conversation.
